Welcome to TrueVue. We provide video messaging as a service to businesses, allowing them to connect with their customers through personalized video content. Your privacy, and the privacy of the recipients you reach, is our top priority.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how TrueVue (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when businesses (our “Customers”) use our platform to send video messages to their end-users (“Recipients”).

2. Information We Collect

To provide our service, we collect and store the following information provided by our Customers:

  • Recipient Information: Name, physical address, phone number, and email address.

  • Video Content: The video files uploaded or recorded by our Customers for delivery to Recipients.

  • Customer Account Data: Contact and billing information for the business using TrueVue.

3. How We Use the Data

We act as a Data Processor for our Customers. We use Recipient data and video content strictly for the following purposes:

  • Delivery: To deliver the video messages via email, SMS, or web link to the intended Recipient.

  • Support: To troubleshoot delivery issues at the request of our Customer.

We do not sell, rent, or share Recipient data or video content with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We only transmit data through essential third-party service providers (Sub-processors) required to run our service, such as:

  • Cloud storage and hosting providers.

  • Email and SMS delivery gateways.
    These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

To minimize data footprints, TrueVue maintains a strict retention policy:

  • Default 90-Day Limit for Delivery data: By default recipient delivery data (addresses, phones, and emails) and full name are only stored for 90 days from the date of upload or delivery.

  • Default Video Retention: Video contact and abbreviated customer name is stored for 1 year by default. Extended Retention: Recipient data can be kept longer ONLY at the request of a customer, for up to 3 years.

  • Automatic Deletion: After the retention period, this data is permanently deleted from our active servers.

6. Security

TrueVue employs industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of data.

7. Your Rights

If you are a Recipient and wish to access, correct, or delete your information before the end of our retention period, please contact the business that sent you the video. As a service provider, TrueVue will assist our Customers in fulfilling these requests.
